The Road We Travel
I haven't posted for a week because I've been caught up in my daughter's wedding and living takes precedence over print. The wedding was absolutely wonderful, the only poignant moments being those when I wished my mother was there to see it (she died in April). Four days after the wedding was my mother's birthday; the first birthday in my entire life where I couldn't give her a hug and see her smile.
The nostalgia this brought forward reminded me to be present with the circle of life; enjoying every single moment of love, connection, and friendship. Because life is fleeting, and someday those wonderful memories are what you have to hold to your heart when your loved ones pass on from the physical plane. Enjoy the ride!
